Here's another vintage inspired outfit featuring a fabulous vintage wool cape from Goodwill. I actually love this outfit because it has an obvious vintage vibe to it. This is also the first cape I've ever bought, and yes I will be buying more.

This is a look for holiday meet ups with family and friends. The rich royal blue dress and clutch are a great contrast from the soft camel coloured cape. Pair it with a classic red lip and a simple bun with minimalist make-up and you're ready for whatever holiday party you go to.
This navy blue shift dress is from Old Navy in size 2X. I bought this dress in an Old Navy store before they moved plus size clothing to online only. It fits true to size and is a good length for everyday wear. The only disadvantage is that this dress has no shape, so you may need to add a belt for a more defined figure.
As I said before this is my first cape! I honestly would never have thought to even wear one, because I simply didn't know how to style a cape. This cape was actually an impulse buy. I saw it on the rack at Goodwill and I couldn't just leave it there!
The cape is fully lined, and surprisingly very warm. The size on the tag was only a Medium, but it fits like a 3X. I like the length of this cape because it can fully cover a short to mid length dress so people can only see your legs. It's almost like wearing a dress all by itself. The outer wool is also of good quality for its age, with no stains or wrinkles. I also really love these two-toned buttons!

This clutch is actually a really old buy from Aldo. I've worn it in other outfits like this one too. I love the colour of it because it's a little different from the average clutch. And besides that, envelope clutches are just cuter, they have a sweet look to them
